This Stops Help section is all about Stops' Augmented Reality,
Enjoy these tips for getting the best out of Discover: AR Mode.
- Use the central circle “the catcher” to load up any of the stops you see in AR.
- When the result is caught, you can tap on the “Go” button in AR to navigate-to that location.
- As you get closer to stops in AR, you’ll see that they get bigger. Further away stops appear smaller.
- You can also filter out your Augmented Reality display by opening the Filters module or searching by keyword.
To add AR magic to your stop
- Click the + button to create a stop.
- From the submenu in create a stop, click on the magic button. It looks like this:
- Select the AR emoji to add it to a stop.
To create a 3D/AR logo and add it to a stop, follow these steps in the Web/Desktop version;
- Make sure you have a Premium account.
- Log-in to the Desktop/Web version
- Go to Brand Studio
- Create your 3D logo
- Export it to your desktop.
- From the dashboard, pick any stop or select multiple stops.
- Attach your 3D logo files using the Add a Location-Based activity (use the Add AR Preview option).

If you have your own 3D model, you can use the Desktop/Web version of Stops to attach any 3d model in USDZ, GLTF/GLB format. Simply, log-in to the web version, create or edit a stop, and select an upload option under the Location Based Activities area.
Note: Here, you can also upload a 3d logo in SVG format. Try our Brand Studio to create your own free 3D logo.
With Stops, you can share 3D models and AR emojis using Create a Stop.
Here are a few tips and tricks for interacting with the emoji:
- Try to place the AR emoji lands on a surface by tilting your phone around.
- If the AR emoji/experience seems to large either a) walk back a few steps or b) pinch to make it smaller.
- To move the AR emoji to a different surface simply long press on the emoji and drag it to a different position.
If you want to attach a 3D model or AR experience to multiple stops, you’ll need to use our Web/Desktop version.
- Log-in to Stops for Desktop/Web
- From the Dashboard, select the stops you want to attach an AR experience. (Note: you can Select All)
- Now, click on the Select Action button (located at the top of your Stops’ list)
- Choose Attach AR experience.
